Chicken Curry (easy)

On days when I don't feel like making the chicken curry from scratch, I cheat and use this:

It's so easy even a caveman could do it :p actually I don't know about that...I mean I know some guys who could still fuck this up.

Anyway, follow the recipe on the back of the packet and add chicken and potatoes. Yup, told you it was easy. You should basically be striving for this as the outcome:

(minus the messy presentation) :p

Some people like to eat the chicken curry with rice but I much prefer it with roti canai. Again, it's so easy to make this nowadays because you can buy it frozen from the Asian supermarket (sometimes goes by the name Roti Paratha).

You don't even have to cut it into triangular pieces....just use your hand to eat/tear it...Malaysian style!

Wow, this is quite possibly the laziest recipe (if you can still call it one) but it's sooooo good. And there's no excuse not to try it because it's so fakking easy.

Mango Kerabu

Mango Kerabu is Malaysia's version to Som Tum. I was too lazy to shred the mango (which is what I normally prefer to use) so I went to the supermarket in Chinatown where they sell pre-shredded green papaya.

(A) Ingredients:
1 green mango, skinned and shredded (can substitute mango with green papaya)
5 shallots, finely sliced
10 cili padi/thai chillies, finely sliced
half a cup of frozen anchovies, fried with sugar
1 cup roasted peanuts, crushed

(B) Dressing:
3 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil

Combine dressing ingredients (B) in a mixing bowl. Stir in all other ingredients(A).
